Winners of the 2021 Bee Aware Month Kids’ Art Competition

Apiculture New Zealand offers a huge congratulations to the 12 young artists that have won the 2021 Bee Aware Month Kids’ Art Competition.

From 630 colourful, creative entries, our judges had the difficult task of selecting two winners from five age group categories.  The final two winners were decided by social media vote.

The final artworks will feature in the 2022 Bee Aware Month Kids’ Art calendar which is available here.  Our winners will also receive prize packs featuring products supplied by Arataki Honey Hawkes Bay, Awapuni Nurseries, Egmont Honey, the Environmental Protection Authority and Apiculture New Zealand.

Our winners are:

3 – 4 year old category winners:  Ali (4) and Leila (4)

5 – 6 year old category winners:  Xavier (6) and Gyubeen (5)

7 – 8 year old category winners: Lilija (8) and Willow (8)

9 – 10 year old category winners: Teyah (10) and Alannah (10)

11 – 13 year old category winners: Paige (11) and Dane (11)
