ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMES

This year we focus on apprentices achieving 4 units @ Level 3 standard including:

Theory Units Practical Units
30795 Pest & Disease 30843 Construct/Repair
30790 Feed Requirements 19892 Transport

These are part of the apprenticeship programme and will be held in a group format with everyone learning together. It’s a great way to broaden your apprentices’ understanding.

The day starts early with theory units inside before heading outside after lunch to complete the practical units in the beautiful Rotorua winter sunshine.

Apprentices will complete all four unit standards and be assessed on the day so you can relax and enjoy your time while they are learning and progressing their course work before joining the Apiculture NZ National Conference (Thursday 29 June to Friday 30 June).

The Professional Learning & Development Day charge is $150 +GST per Apprentice including refreshments and a working lunch. ApiNZ members who enrol apprentices in the day will also have the opportunity to bring them to two days conference for a special fee of $300 per apprentice including the PLD Day.
