Auditorium Enhancing the value of Aotearoa’s Monofloral Honeys Hear about the work and aims of the High Value Nutrition- project focused on discovering more about prominent native monofloral honeys including kānuka rata, rewarewa and kamahi. The project aims to identify scientifically-validated factors aimed at differentiating some of our other important, but lesser-known, native honeys. Hear from the Group on how and why it was set up and how it operates plus what the outcomes are, both for individuals and group projects. It is a great model for other regions to consider. The speakers will also talk about Project CleanHive which trialled the use of qPCR technology for early detection of AFB.
