Bee Aware Month Primary Schools’ Art Competition Winners

WELL DONE EVERYONE that entered our Bee Aware Month School Art Competition!
We received hundreds of entries from around the country with very creative and thoughtful illustrations of what a world without pollinators might look like compared to our world full of pollinators.
With so many amazing entries it was incredibly hard to choose the winners, so we handed the final decision over to Associate Minister of Agriculture Jo Luxton who selected the top two entries from each age category.
Thank you so much to everyone who entered. It was so great to have you be a part of Bee Aware Month 2023.
Here are the winning entries…

Terms and conditions:
The BAM Art Competition is open to residents of New Zealand aged 3 to 13 years of age.  The judges’ decisions are final and no discussion will be entered into. By entering this competition, you agree to your artwork being used by Apiculture NZ in promoting bee health and education.
